Deploying to Subdomain

Last updated 5 months ago

Subdomains are treated as entirely separate entities within a domain.

Whereas MyWebsite.com/page is treated as a child of the MyWebsite.com domain, Page.MyWebsite.com is treated as a completely separate website from MyWebsite.com

Deploying your apps or chatbots on subdomains is the first step in getting ownership over your chatbot and apps.

Its also necessary for adding custom domains to your account (soon).

Follow these steps to deploy a chatbot or app to a subdomain

1. Log into your account

  • Log into your account and click on "Dashboard".

  • Scroll down to find your chatbot or app.

  • Click on "Subdomain" under actions

2. Check subdomain availability

Enter your chosen subdomain name and click on "Check Availability"

If the subdomain is available, you will see an "Available" message.

3. Confirm & deploy

If the subdomain is available, you will be given the option to "Confirm & Deploy"

Once you click this button, the subdomain will go live within seconds.

You will now be able to access the chatbot or app from [yourSubdomain].codergf.xyz
